Major Jessica L. Wolff is an Assistant Professor of Military Science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she once earned her commission through ROTC in 2010.
Born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, she first enlisted in the Nebraska Army National Guard in 2005. After commissioning, she served as a Transportation Officer and worked with Special Operations forces at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where she also completed Jumpmaster School. Throughout her career, Major Wolff has held many key leadership and staff roles, including Personnel Officer, Officer Strength Manager, Financial Manager, and Operations Officer. She commanded the 1075th Transportation Company and later managed one of the largest training budgets in Nebraska as the Collective Training Manager at Joint Forces Headquarters. She deployed to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom Horn of Africa, serving as the Deputy Director for Logistics at Combined Joint Task Force Horn of Africa.
Her awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (3), Army Achievement Medal (6), and Nebraska National Guard Individual Achievement Medal (2). Major Wolff holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Nebraska. She is married to Matthew Wolff and has two children, Haidyn (12) and Noah (9).
